Love Lockdown Part:: Mustafa's Renaissance

So My mixtape Dropped Yesterday. I want to thank all of you for Supporting me and for Helping me get too where I am Today. Its been a Steady Grind and hard hard work. Alot of sleepless days and nights. Alot of female problems because I was to Focused. But out of all of this came my first official Collection of music for this Industry.

Now I want too address a few things.

First I am so thankful too all the Blogs. That have showed me love. Mainly Herfection.com. She was one of the first people to not only put up some of my music but too also write her opinion on it. I got mad love for her because of that. She also helps me out with alot of my internet shit. POOP!!!

I want to thank Onsmash for deciding to be a part of the project and just helping it get even futher. I seen my shit on Loud.com and Okayplayer.com. Thats just so amazing too me.

This sounds like I just won a award. Well really that's how it is. its like I worked so hard for this and now everyone gets too hear it and im awarded with opinions and thoughts that will help me work towards my next project.

Now a comment was left on my blog about the mixtape.. We are all entitled to an opinion so I love too hear any opinion on my music wheather good or bad. So one commenter said this

"Your album cover is nice but not realistic. That's where you want to be but not where you're at.Soon.God willing. Focus on your artist Nikki Ntu. She's good. She will make a name for you. The album is okay. Her track is the best."

This is the first open form of hate ive recieved haha. And it feels good. I mean not as good as the love but atleast i get to defend my self now. and that helps my fans understand me even more.

So to mr. or ms. anonymous. First you should have put ya contact info and shit so i could of hit you up personally you know. Second You probly know me personally or think you know me personally. And I know who wrote it. I mean not %100. But trust me I know. Plus im a cpu nerd so I can see the time it was posted and see the I.P adress then if you ever post again from that cpu and leave any info I'll know who it is haha. maybe i should not have told you that hmmm fuk it be a man or lady haha

ANYWAYZZZ!!!!

So you think that the cover is not real and it is where i want to be. becuase im not there now. Well everything in the Cover is owned by me besides the chair. The guitar is my first guitar i ever bought and im still teaching my self too play it now. In the right bottom corner is a stack of records. Im a DJ and a Record Digger so I have a big collection of Records. On the lower left side is a stack of magazines. I love magazines. I usually buy them too look at the photography. I have every issue of the source and xxl from about 2001 too 2003 stacked up in my closet. I also have many Lindsay Lohan featured mags hahaha. And the top magazine in the cover is the Italian Vouges Black issue. Who my friend Jane Kim got for me after reading my blog that i was looking for it. Also on the left side is my Drum. Well not mine its my friends own which i never gave back hahahaha. I actually used it in the begining of Nikki Ntu's song called The Birth of Venus. The drum was the first instrument I learned how to play. On top of the Drum is a vintage polariod Camera. I collect alot of vintage cameras. I have all types. Alos im a Photographer and i use film alot. so i like to experiment. I used this camera in a photo shoot with theophilus london for his JAM Mixtape. On the other side is my big ass budda Chain. I wore this a few times when Djing for Mickey Factz. I wore it once at BBkings because Slick rick was performing also and I wanted too go all out. He was killer tho. no one is tesing his Chain Game. It also is a symbol of peace. Too me its a symbol of Peace of mind. at the end of the day thats what im Searching for. Thats why i became a Isrealite at a young age and tried too have a great knowledge of self. Speaking of Chains I am wearing a few chains on my neck..some are mine and others are from Soull who helped style the shoot.

So with that said. I think that is a place that i am now. That picture shows the meaning of Mustafa's Renaissance. It has everything im into right there. Where I want to be is a totally different place that has nothing to do with music fashion photos or anything. Like I said I want peace of mind at the end of the day

You also said I should focus on Nikki Ntu's album. Well it was finished since the summer. We just waited till I dropped my Project so that we could build up more anticipation for hers. Because her album will be my official second project released after this mixtape. I think that will push it even futher seeing that i already had a big name as a DJ in NYC and now as a Artist and Musician. dont you think so

I hope that clears things up for you.

Aynt nothing wrong with hate. im a hater. or just a lover of good music or what i percieve as good.. so if it doesnt make me get chills or make me say wow that was amazing then i dont really care for it.. So if thats how you feel more power too you.. Plain Pat told me on monday that I stay hating on all his projects haha. Na man I got love for good shit.. Some stuff hits me and some don't. Plain Pat has been behind alot of great projects that have inspired me also.
